Creativity to the rescue!
When I was little I played more with objects and materials rather than with toys. Soon toys were no longer attractive, there were no more stories to imagine and I was looking for new possibilities. Boards, bricks, cardboard, paper, cloth, screws… became spaceships, houses, cars, characters… universes. And all it took was to move them around or change them a little so that my mind could do the rest.
Now I do the same thing professionally. My career in Advertising and PR helped me to channel my creativity and gradually it also led me to adapt professionally as my objectives changed.
As I’m older and don’t play as much, my source of inspiration came from my nephews. When they got bored, I helped them to make their own toys with what they had at home and together we got into the great world of paper cut-outs and models. I have also written and illustrated stories, which is another of my passions.
I am lucky enough to enjoy working and also to be able to choose which projects I undertake, they are always different, whether they are models of entire neighbourhoods, summer courses for educational centers, screenplays for television, drawings, showcase decoration… who knows what will happen in the future?
